2022 Winter Survival Challenge

The always popular Meadowlands Winter Meet Survival Challenge powered by 123Racing returns Saturday, January 7, 2022. Cash prizes and World Harness Handicapping Championship  are up for grabs in this free online competition.

Trackmaster will provide Platinum Past Performances for each night of the contest.  The game covers the Meadowlands’ Winter Meet and concludes on March 26, 2022.

The winner is determined by the highest total bankroll at the end of the Challenge based on a $2 “across the board” wager [win, place and show] on selections for three designated races each program.

However, to continue in the game, entrants have to “survive” by finishing in-the-money [first through third] with at least one of their selections each day.  Failing to do so or not making selections knocks the player out of the game.  To aid in the player’s survival a “lucky horseshoe” is given.  The lucky horseshoe is a “free pass” given to all Challenge participants that allows the player to survive if he does not make selections for a race card or all three of his selections fail to hit the board.

The grand prize is $500 & $1,000 2022 WHHC Spot
The second-place prize is $300 & $1,000 2022 WHHC Spot
The third-place prize is $200 & $1,000 2022 WHHC Spot

The free contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada 18 years and older, and all selections must be made through the format provided on the Survival Challenge website page.  No selections will be accepted by phone, fax, e-mail or any other means.  Trackmaster PPs for the three designated races will be provided through the game board.

The deadline for selections each day is 30 minutes before 6:20 p.m. post time for the first race.  After 30 minutes to post, all selections are final.

2022 January $400 WHHC Qualifier

Top 4 finishers qualify for WHHC Final on September 10, 2022 @ the Meadowlands Racetrack – $10,000 in prize monies & 4 WHHC Seats (based on 50 entrants).

•$400 Total Fee: $200 entry fee is non-refundable and required with entry form. An additional $200 “betting card” purchase is required.
• Entrants keep all pari-mutuel winnings.
• Entrants cannot add additional cash to tournament bankroll; doing so results in automatic disqualification.
• Entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Max 4 entries per person.
• Entrants must bet a minimum of 10 races from the Meadowlands. Betting less than 10 races results in automatic disqualification.
• $20 minimum bet per race, no maximum.
• Win, Place, Show and/or WPS wagers only.
• One horse per race.
• Contest wagering allowed on Meadowlands races only.
• Contestants receive live racing program & food voucher.

Free WHHC Handicapping Contest

FREE  Handicapping Contest on Saturday, May 28, 2022 – winner receives $1,000 spot in the WHHC Final in 2022

 Contest Details:

The contest is contestants 18+

• On May 28 players must check-in at the Players Club Desk by 6:20 pm and complete the “official contest” form prior to Race 1.

There is no entry fee and no live money wagered into the pari-mutuel pools.

Each participant makes mythical $2 “across the board” wager [win, place and show] on selections for Meadowlands races 1-10. Contestants must make their mythical selections for races 1-10 prior to Race 1 on the official Contest Entry Form and turn them into the Contest Official.

If horse is scratched participant receives post time favorite.

If Meadowlands cancels due to inclement weather, the contest is cancelled.

The winner is determined by the highest total mythical bankroll at end Meadowlands Race 10.
